Local business. A little more connected.

Good conversations.
Local connections.

Yeovil Business Club brings together the people behind businesses in Yeovil, Sherborne and the surrounding area. A friendly place to meet, swap ideas and build relationships that last beyond the morning.

Why we’re starting

Networking that feels natural.

Running a business can be busy, and sometimes a little isolating. We want to make it easier to get to know other local people who understand it: people you can learn from, work with or simply enjoy a good conversation with.

Launching in January 2027, the club is being built around relaxed morning get-togethers. Come as you are, talk about what you do and see where the conversation takes you.

01 / CONNECTIONS

People, not pitches.

Make useful introductions without the pressure of a hard sell. Listen, share and get to know the person behind the business.

02 / COMMUNITY

Good things happen locally.

Discover the skills, services and ideas on your doorstep, and find more ways for local businesses to support each other.

03 / OPPORTUNITY

Leave with something useful.

A new contact, a different perspective or an idea to try. Small conversations can open up bigger opportunities.

You’re welcome here

For the people behind local business.

Business owners, freelancers, self-employed people and local teams are all welcome. Whether you’ve been doing it for years or are just getting started, you don’t need a polished pitch to join the conversation.

We’re planning to meet at different local venues, giving businesses a chance to introduce their spaces and helping members discover somewhere new.

Could your business host an event? ↗

The person behind the club

A local idea, for local businesses.

Yeovil Business Club is organised by Travis Parker of TP Creates. Working with local businesses inspired the idea: bringing more of those people together in a friendly, informal setting.

We’d also like the club to give something back. Our plan is to welcome a local charity once a quarter, give them time to share their work and donate the profits from that morning’s event to their cause.
